Nepal sees 65 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 27 new cases



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 65 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Sunday. There was no coronavirus-related death in the country in the last 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases today, 59 were detected through the RT-PCR method and six from the antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, as there was no coronavirus-related death in the past 24 hours, the COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,950 to date.

Similarly, Kathmandu valley witnessed 27 coronavirus cases in past 24 hours with 24 cases in Kathmandu and three in Lalitpur district.

Currently, there are 4,917 active cases in the country as 192 infected patients recovered.
