COVID-19 spreads to eight of 13 local levels in Kavrepalanchok

KAVRE: COVID-19 has spread to eight of the total 13 local levels in Kavrepalanchowk district.

So far, six municipalities and two rural municipalities have reported 132 infection cases with 34 in the past 24 hours, according to the district COVID-19 Control and Management Committee.

The local levels that have witnessed the infection cases are Banepa Municipality (51 cases), Panchkhal Municipality (6), Dhulikhel Municipality (42), Panauti Municipality (14), Namobuddha Municipality (11), Mandandeupur Municipality (3), Bhumlu Rural Municipality (3) and Bethanchowk Rural Municipality (2).

The district has recorded the total 14,987 cases and 193 infection-related deaths.

Similarly, 14,662 have recovered from the deadly virus.
