Covid: Delhi records highest daily spike in nearly 7 months



NEW DELHI: Witnessing a spike in Covid-19 cases, India’s capital Delhi reported 2,726 fresh cases, the highest in nearly seven months, according to health department data.

In addition to this, 6 fatalities due to the infection were also reported while the positivity rate stood at 14.38 percent, India Today reported.

As per the data, the active caseload reached 8,840, the highest in six months.

Earlier on February 6, the number of active coronavirus patients stood at 8,869.

In the last 24 hours, 18,960 tests were conducted.
