KATHMANDU: Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has ruled for providing fertilizer to farmers on time.
Speaker Sapkota made the ruling at the 11th session of the House of Representatives on Sunday to draw attention of the government that farmers were being not getting fertilizer as it was time for planting paddy.
The speaker directed the government to provide fertilizer to the farmers as soon as possible.
In the HoR meeting, Speaker Sapkota said, “My attention has been drawn to the situation of non-availability of fertilizer even during the planting season. I would like to draw the attention of the concerned Minister and the Government to manage fertilizers to the farmers as soon as possible.”
