Govt discusses issues of 3-point deal struck with Chand-led party



KATHMANDU: The government has discussed future modality of implementation of the three-point agreement signed with the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) led by Netra Bikram Chand.

Home Minister Bal Krishna Khanna, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dilendra Prasad Badu, Attorney General Khamma Bahadur Khati, Home Secretary Teknarayan Pandey, Law Secretary Uday Raj Sapkota and Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma from the CPN (Maoist) participated in the discussion held at the Home Ministry on Saturday.

Home Ministry Spokesperson Phanindra Mani Pokharel informed that the talks focused on the progress made so far and further course of action in the implementation of three-point agreement reached with Chand-led group on March 4, 2021.

“Amicable discussions were held,” he said.
