KAVREPALANCHOWK: CPN (UML) politburo member and former Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Banskota said that there was a deficit of credibility in journalism lately.
Addressing the 7th convention of the Press Chautari Nepal of Kavrepalanchowk chapter at Dhulikhel today, Banskota expressed his concern over the decreasing value of journalism due to credibility issues.
Banskota bemoaned, “There is a need for impartial journalism in Nepal. I feel guilty to see impartiality in journalism in Nepal was eroding.”
The participants of the event such as Bagmati Province Assembly member Chandra Lama and Federation of Nepalese Journalist Kavrepalanchowk President Badriraj Timalsina among others extended their best wishes for the convention that will elect new leadership.RSS
