Nepal sees 104 new coronavirus cases, two deaths in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 104 new cases of coronavirus and two deaths in the past 24 hours as of Sunday.

Of the confirmed cases, 89 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 15 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 3,587 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of them, 1,592 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,995 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 2,316 active cases in the country as 201 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Two coronavirus related deaths were been recorded in the past 24 hours, and with this, the COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 12,014 to date.
