Cycle rally organized to raise public awareness about blood donation



KATHMANDU: Khabarhub, a news portal of Nepal, has organized a cycle rally in collaboration with Blood Donors Association, Nepal to raise public awareness about blood donation on Saturday morning.

The bicycle rally organized this morning started from Chamati Ropeway of Swayambhu and came to an end on the premises of Manamaiju Temple in Balaju.

A blood donation camp was also organized on the premises of Manmaiju Temple in Tarkeshwar municipality. Chairman of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-15 Ishwar Man Dangol was also present in the program.

Cyclists from various walks of life participated in the cycle rally carrying placards reading ‘Let’s donate blood, let’s participate in humanitarian work, Let’s donate blood today and every three months”, to raise public awareness about the importance of blood donation.

The rally started from Swayambhu’s Chamati Ropeway, passed through Teku, Sanepa Bridge, Kupandole, Patan Blood Bank, Koteshwor, Sinamangal, Airport, Jayabageshwari, Siphal, Kalopul, Police Headquarters Naxal, Lainchaur, British and Indian Embassy, Samakhusi, New Bus Park before converging into the premises of Manamaiju Temple.
