Bicycle rally to be held to raise public awareness for blood donation



KATHMANDU: A bicycle rally is scheduled to be held to raise public awareness for blood donation in Kathmandu today.

The Blood Donors’ Association of Nepal in collaboration with Khabarhub is holding a bicycle rally from 7 am from Chamati Ropeway near Swayambhu.

The rally will pass through Indrachowk, New Road, Jasidebal, Kohiti, Kalimati Chowk, Tankeshwar, Nepal Red Cross Kalimati, Rabi Bhavan, Kuleshwar, Teku, Sanepa Bridge, Kupandol, Patan Blood Bank, Koteshwar Mahadevsthan, Sinamangal, Airport, Jaybageshwari, Sifal, Kalopul, Police Headquarters Naxal, Lanchaur, Samkhusi, and then to New Bus Park.

The bicycle rally then will converge into a blood donation camp at the Manamaiju premises, Tarkeshwar.

Starting that the rally is being organized for a social cause, the organizers have urged all cycle enthusiasts to participate in the rally.

The Blood Donors Association of Nepal is conducting a weekly program on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day.
