India reports 161,505 new COVID-19 cases



NEW DELHI: India’s COVID-19 cases have reached 35,869,947with 161,505 new infection cases in the last 24 hours.

Currently, 830,462 people are undergoing treatment in various hospitals across the country while 34,555,549 have returned home following recovery.

Similarly, 483,936 have died in the country so far, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 5,511,630 and infected 310,650,245 people globally.
