Australian cricketer Brett Lee appointed as mentor of Nepal T20 League



KATHMANDU: Australian bowler Brett Lee has been appointed as the mentor of the Nepali T20 to be organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).

The first franchise league Nepal T20 to be organized by CAN is scheduled to be held from September 24 to October 22.

The CAN announced Lee as a mentor for the T20 league on Friday.

Speaking at the event, Brett Lee expressed his happiness that the cricket craze in Nepal is good and that he has been appointed as the mentor of the league.

Six franchise teams Kantipur Capital, Lumbini All Stars, Biratnagar Super Kings, Janakpur Royals, Pokhara Avengers and Sudur Paschim United will participate in the first edition of Nepal T20.
