One dies in bus-bike collision in Banke



KHAJURA: One person was killed when a bus and a motorcycle collided on Friday evening at Jhinjhari Bridge in Raptisonari-9 Dhakeri of Banke district under the East-West highway.

Khadga Bikram Shrestha, a motorcycle driver, died when the bus No. 1 B 1925 going east and the motorcycle No. 7 P 5450 going from Agaia to Kohalpur collided with each other.

The motorcycle rider Shrestha, a resident of Raptisonari-3 Bhawaniapur died at Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital, Kohalpur during treatment, according to the area police office Kohalpur.

According to the police, pillion rider, Savitra Tharu, was seriously injured in the accident. She is being treated at the hospital.
