Laligurans Cooperative issues 21-day  notice to suspended CJ Rana’s daughter

Urges to pay off the loan as soon as possible to avoid auction of the collateral

KATHMANDU: Laligurans Cooperative Limited has issues a 21-day notice to Srishti Rana, the daughter of suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Rana, for the non-payment of the loan.

The cooperative has published a notice against Rana to pay the loan amount, interest and other dues within 21 days.

Srishti is the daughter-in-law of former Governor Tilak Rawal.

According to the cooperative, she took a loan from the cooperative on the personal guarantee of Binay Rawal.

The cooperative has accused Srishti of not showing interest in paying the loan despite repeated oral and written warnings.

The cooperative has warned to make the details of the debtor and guarantor with photos and issue a 35-day notice to sell all the loans by auctioning the mortgage provided they do not clear the loan within 21 days.
