Minister Ale urges Nepalis to engage in promoting tourism



KATHMANDU: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale termed Khaptad area – a confluence of four districts of Sudurpaschim province, Bajhang, Bajura, Achham and Doti as a priceless treasure of nature.

Minister Ale claimed that there was no other area like Khaptad having replete with natural beauty.

He further said, “We are bound to visit Switzerland, Singapore. They are not natural but artificial. Let us develop our own areas such as Khaptad and Rara, among others with commitment. Tourists will surely come”.

Ale further shared that his ministry has earmarked a dedicated budget for the development of the area.

He noted, “Additional budget can be managed in the fiscal year if master plan was prepared and submitted to the concerned authorities”.

The minister expressed commitment for the development and preservation of natural spots in different parts of the country, including Khaptad, he added.

He asked all Nepalis to engage their efforts for the promotion of tourism in the country.
