KMC urges govt, private offices to manage waste within 35 days



KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has urged all government and private offices to manage the waste piled up on their office premises.

The KMC issued a notice asking for the removal of garbage from the premises of government and public offices, health and educational institutions and non-governmental organizations, or private offices of other nature within 35 days.

It has said that if the waste was not removed within the specified time, the KMC said it will manage the same by collecting the expenses from the relevant offices.

KMC metropolis has also urged one and all to keep the city clean by managing the garbage.
