Political Coordination Committee meeting at Baluwatar

Dwells on NA elections, PM's India visit



KATHMANDU: A meeting of political coordination committee of the ruling alliance has taken place in Baluwatar on Thursday morning.

In the political coordination committee meeting led by Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel, CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Nepal among others are attending the meeting.

According to sources, the meeting has been called to dwell on National Assembly elections, Prime Minister Sher Bahadaur Deuba’s India visit and contemporary political issues.

Leaders have also touched upon the resumption of the House of Representatives (HoR) meetings by taking the opposition party into confidence.

On Wednesday, coordinator Poudel had reached Balkot to hold talks with CPN-UML chairman KP Oli.

In the meeting with Oli, Poudel had urged not to obstruct the HoR meetings.
