Nepal records a clean sweep against Kenya in ODI series



KATHMANDU: Nepal registered a clean sweep against Kenya in the three-match ODI series that ended in Nairobi today (Monday).

Nepal defeated the home team by 6 wickets in the last match of the ODI series.

Batting first, Kenya had posted a target of 256 runs before Nepal for victory in the match held at the Gymkhana ground in Nairobi, Kenya.

In reply, Nepal achieved the target by losing 4 wickets in 47.1 overs.

Nepal had defeated Kenya by 7 wickets in the first one-day match and won by 17 runs in the second match of the series.

With this win, Nepal has won both the ODI and Twenty 20 series against Kenya.

Earlier, Nepal also won the five-match T-20 international series by 3-2.
