BIMSTEC Secretary-General calls on President Bhandari



KATHMANDU: Secretary-General of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multilateral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) Tenzin Lekphell paid a courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari at Rashtrapati Bhawan, Sheetal Niwas today.

On the occasion, matters relating to enhancing regional cooperation among the member states to make the BIMSTEC process more effective were discussed.

High-ranking officials of the Government of Nepal were present on the occasion, according to the Office of the President.
