One killed, eight injured in Dailekh jeep mishap

DAILEKH: One person has died and six injured in a Bolero jeep accident in Dailekh Wednesday morning.

According to Dailekh Police, Lu 2 Cha 4829 jeep heading towards Dailekh district headquarters from Bestada Bazaar, of Bhagwatimai rural municipality of Dailekh, met with an accident near Katti creek.

The deceased has been identified as Krishna Rokaya, 29, owner of the jeep.

According to DSP Bhubaneswar Prasad Shah, Rokaya an inhabitant of Bhagawati-6, Chipin used to visit Bestada bazaar quite often.

DSP Shah,  informed that out of eight injured, three have been shifted to Karnali Province Hospital, Surkhet for further treatment.

There were 10 passengers including the driver in the jeep.

Police said that further investigation has been started into the jeep accident.
