Rautahat’s Gujara-based election office padlocked after dispute



GAUR: The Gujara-based election office in Rautahat has been locked after CPN-UML and CPN-Unified Socialist cadres protest.

The election office has been locked demanding the cancellation of the candidature after the non-Dalits and non-minorities registered in the name of Dalits and minorities in the election of executive members.

The commission had made a rule to allow Dalit and minority women to run for the post of municipal executive member.

UML and Unified Socialist have padlocked the election office.
