KMC to coordinate with all tiers of government



KATHMANDU: Development and physical infrastructure work within the Kathmandu Metropolitan City will be carried out only in coordination with the government at all three levels.

A meeting chaired by KMC Mayor Balendra Sah late on Friday night decided that all the concerned bodies should take joint measures for the development work in the capital city.

Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol shared that the meeting has decided to hold a meeting every Monday at 3 pm under the leadership of the Mayor from next month, where the concerned agencies will give an update about the development works in the capital city.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Mayor Dangol, Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority Kulman Ghising, and representatives of Kathmandu Upatyaka Khanepani Limited, Nepal Telecommunication Authority, Department of Roads and Melamchi Drinking Water Project.
