KATHMANDU: Actress Rekha Thapa has lodged a complaint with the police alleging that some social media users have been defaming and humiliating her of late.
According to actress Thapa, her sister Tara Rana lodged a defamation compliant with the police on behalf of her.
Thapa’s complaint has been registered at the Cyber Bureau alleging that Richa Sharma and other heroines have been slandered on YouTube.
Few you tubers and other social media users have been making insulting remarks against actress Thapa and Sharma for their opinion that the minors have to be protected by the state and the society.
Actor Paul Shah has been taken into police custody on the charge of raping a minor singer.
