KATHMANDU: The Department of Revenue Investigation (DRI) has filed a case against five persons, including Shobha Kant Dhakal, the main accused in the Baluwatar land scandal on Tuesday.

According to sources, DRI filed a case of revenue fraud against Saroj Dhakal, Uma Kumari Dhakal, Santu Shrestha and Rajeshwar Shrestha considering their role in the fraud.

DRI filed the case in Patan High Court demanding a fine of Rs 2.40 billion from them.
