PM Balen Shah continues consultations with HoR lawmakers, meets Sudurpaschim MPs



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra Shah has continued his consultations with members of the House of Representatives (HoR), a process he began on Monday.

After holding discussions with lawmakers from Koshi and Karnali provinces, Shah is currently meeting with MPs from Sudurpaschim Province on Tuesday.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting, which began at 11 am at Singha Durbar, is still in progress.

He is expected to complete consultations with lawmakers from all provinces by Wednesday.

Officials said the Prime Minister has been engaging with directly elected MPs to hear their concerns ahead of the first meeting of the House of Representatives scheduled for April 2 at 2 pm.

The consultations are viewed as part of preparations for the upcoming parliamentary session.
