Sandeep Lamichhane in BBL draft



KATHMANDU: Nepali National Cricket Team captain Sandeep Lamichhane has been drafted for the new season of Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL).

Sandeep is the only Nepali player who made a place in the draft released by the BBL for the new season starting from 28 August. In the last two editions, he played for Hobart Hurricanes.

Last season he took 14 wickets in 14 matches for the Hobart Hurricanes. From 2018 to 2020, he played for Melbourne Stars for two seasons.

Earlier, Sandeep was signed by Caribbean Premier League (CPL) club Jamaica Tallawahs.
