NA suspends Chinese contractors for failing to expedite Fast Track construction

The Nepal Army (NA) has suspended the contractor companies – both Chinese – working on the Kathmandu-Terai Fast Track for failing to expedite the construction work.

According to the military, the company has been suspended for a few days.

However, the contract with the company has not been canceled.

The NA had earlier approved the designs of the tunnels and connecting bridges to be built along the Kathmandu-Terai Fast Track, one of the national pride projects.

Dahal urges local representatives from party to keep people first

Govt to form committee to systematize supplies of petroleum products

Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Dilendra Prasad Badu has said that a high-level committee would be formed to suggest ways for better managing the demand, supplies and distribution chain of petroleum products and for handling economic impacts due to adjustment of prices of petroleum products.
