Nepal sees 326 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley sees 184 cases in 24 hours



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 326 new cases of coronavirus while 255 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 291 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 35 from the antigen method.

Likewise, there are 140 cases in Kathmandu, 16 in Bhaktapur and 28 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the valley to 184 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were two coronavirus-related death in the past 24 hours. With this, the COVID-19 death toll has reached 11,598 in the country.

There are 5,005 active cases of coronavirus in Nepal as of Sunday.
