KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has said the country experiences no economic crisis, but still it continues to deal with some challenges in the relevant sector.

In his address to a program organized here today on the occasion of 26th anniversary of the Society of Economic Journalists- Nepal (SEJON), the Minister said it would be wrong assessment to understand the economy was in crisis.

“But still there are some challenges and they should be addressed in collaboration with the private sector.”

According to the Minister, domestic economic indices are improving and lately there is an increment in the Forex reserve and remittance inflows.

As he explained, Nepal opted for a mixed economy and in this economic system, the sudden rise and the fall is unlikely.
