BIRATNAGAR: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has said that the new government will be formed under the leadership of the Nepali Congress.
Labeling the election results as “satisfactory”, he claimed that NC will form the government.
He, however, did not clarify who would become the leader of the NC parliamentary party.
Speaking at a program in Biratnagar, he said that Sher Bahadur Deuba, being the leader of the Parliamentary Party, may take the initiative to become the leader once again.
“Considering the current status, it seems that Deuba has the upper hand,” Koirala said.
