Nepal sees 29 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 29 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday.

Of the confirmed cases, all 29 cases were detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 634 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the total samples 619 were tested through RT-PCR and 15 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 528 active cases in the country as 23 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
