Justice Chudal hearing writs filed by Toshima and Tripathi



KATHMANDU: Supreme Court (SC) justice Kumar Chudal is hearing the writ filed by Dr. Tosima Karki against the cancellation of the candidature by the Election Commission.

Likewise, Chudal’s single bench will hear the writ filed by senior advocate Dinesh Tripathi against the Election Commission’s decision to ban the Facebook page and group ‘No, Not Again’.

Karki, who was a candidate for the House of Representatives from the Rastriya Swotantra Party in Lalitpur-3, was dismissed by the Commission on Saturday.

Karki filed a writ against the decision in the Supreme Court on Monday.
