Medical education fee hiked



KATHMANDU: The Medical Education Commission has decided to increase tuition fees at the undergraduate level of medical education.

The ninth meeting of the Commission held on Tuesday decided to hike the fee for new students from the next session by 3.6 percent based on the existing fee structure.

Dr Bhojraj Kafle, Member Secretary of the Commission, said the amount has been increased in the tuition fees of medical students enrolled for the upcoming academic session.

The fee has not been increased for four years, according to Kafle.
