Ruling alliance to take action against cadres violating directives

KATHMANDU: The five-party ruling coalition has decided to move ahead in the spirit of the electoral alliance even in places where rebel candidates have not withdrawn their candidacies.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the coalition’s internal preparation and monitoring mechanism for the local election.

According to the decision, all five parties in the ruling coalition have instructed their subordinate bodies to act in accordance with the agreement in places where the candidature has not been withdrawn.

It has also been decided to actively fulfill the responsibility in the election by maintaining mutual unity in line with the spirit of the alliance.

The coalition has also decided to take action against the cadres who do not abide by the agreement.
