Nepal sees 408 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 408 new cases of coronavirus while 518 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 376 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 32 from antigen method.

Likewise, there are 99 cases in Kathmandu, 7 in Bhaktapur and 13 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the Valley to 119 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether eight infected patients died of the infection in the past 24 hours taking the COVID-19 death toll to 11,407.
