SURKHET: Police have arrested three persons from Birendranagar of Surkhet along with 650 mg of brown sugar.
According to the Province Police Office, Surkhet, the arrested are Ganesh BC, 18, of Sukumbasi Tol, Birendranagar Municipality-8, Dipendra Rokaya (Durge), 27, of the same Municipality-2, Jaipur and Bakhat BK, 23.
A total of Rs 4,480 in cash including 650 mg of brown sugar was also recovered from them.
Nepal police had deployed a team from the District Police Office, Surkhet, arrested them on the basis of special information that drugs were being traded, Madhav Prasad Shrestha, the spokesperson of Province Police Office said.
