KATHMANDU: The Fifth International Women’s Trade Exhibition is going to be held from September 1 in Kathmandu. The expo will run till September 6.

Federation of Women Entrepreneurs’ Association of Nepal (FWEAN) is organising the expo under the main slogan ‘Work Together Win Together’. FWEAN’s chairperson Rita Singh said that the expo is to be organised through virtual medium due to coronavirus pandemic.

The expo is an opportunity to bring together Nepalese women entrepreneurs in a common digital platform and showcase their products, merchandised and service to both domestic and international buyers, also giving them the market opportunity to expand and promote their business through virtual exhibition.

Handicraft goods, agro products, ornaments, wooden products, decoration accessories and different services would be the main attraction of the expo. There would be 79 stalls of 57 women entrepreneurs and 22 stalls representing District women entrepreneurs associations in the expo, according to the FWEAN.
