KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has asserted that current coalition government would be expanded very soon and would be centered on resolving citizens’ problems.
Addressing an event organized by the Sarlahi-Kathmandu Liaison Committee of the CPN (Maoist Center) on Monday, Chairman Prachanda claimed that there will no development and stability in the country until his party would emerge as per the largest political force in the country.
“Until the Maoist prevails in Tarai-Madhes, the Madhesi people would not be truly emancipated,” said Prachanda, adding, “The public had witnessed what could happen if they would elect other than CPN (Maoist Center).”
He argued that all the political achievements were at stake while CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli was elected Prime Minister. “We nearly lost federalism.
“Republican system was at stake while KP Oli held reign of the country,” said the former Prime Minister reasoning that the Oli-led government was toppled due to the foul play of the erstwhile government.
