KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has lashed out at senior advocates of the opposition coalition for creating ruckus over the Constitutional Bench.

Addressing a meeting of the central secretariat of the UML-affiliated youth association Monday, Oli alleged that they were creating a scene by demanding judges who would read out the verdicts written by only them.

“What are they trying to do to the judiciary by demanding judges who are ready to read out verdicts prepared by them? This is a serious matter. They are saying that we will not only choose the judge but also give the verdict,” PM Oli said.

The Prime Minister has also objected to the statements of former Chief Justices. He added the country would be protected from the poisonous ideas of the ex-officials.
