NCP plans to hold massive assembly at Narayanhiti road on February 5



KATHMANDU: The Bagmati Province committee of the ruling NCP has planned to hold massive assembly at Narayanhiti road on February 5 in the wake of the announcement of election after the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR).

The committee informed that the road at the southern gate of Narayanhiti Museum was chosen to avoid traffic congestion.

Committee secretary Khem Prasad Lohani said the NCP cadres and supporters from all 13 districts of Bagmati Province would attend the assembly. The event is aimed at giving a message to the people on the new political scenario, he added.

The program to be addressed by Prime Minister and NCP Chairman KP Sharma Oli and other leaders would be held under the slogan ‘fresh people’s mandate for political stability through prosperity’.

Even the cultural pageants depicting national unity and musical presentations would be made during the event. The musical presentations would emanate from various places including Maitighar Mandal, Tripureshwor, Jamal, Putalisadak, and Ghantaghar of Kathmandu Valley.

Similarly, rallies would be led by central members of the district general convention coordination committee, district chairman and secretary. All 21 sister organizations of the party are to participate in the event along with their banners.

Even a rally of 10,000 motorcycles would be held two days before the major event in the Kathmandu Valley.
