Coronavirus report no longer mandatory for entering Dolpa

DOLPA: Coronavirus negative report will be no longer required to visit the mountainous district of Dolpa.

It has been decided not to make coronavirus report mandatory for people visiting the district from Tuesday.

Producing a negative report for the coronavirus conducted through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) was compulsory after the lockdown was lifted.

Chief District Officer Madhav Prasad Dhakal said that the provision was lifted as vaccination against the pandemic has already started.

“It has not been taken into consideration whether the test report has been brought to Jufal Airport for a week now. It has been decided that the report will not be required in the district from Monday,” said Dhakal.
