KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has stated that the western low-pressure system has a partial impact in Nepal.
According to MFD, fog is prevailing in a few places in the hilly areas of the country and in most parts of the Terai while the weather is generally clear in the rest of the country.
The weather will be partly cloudy in some place of Province 1 and it will be generally clear in the rest of the country with partial cloud cover in the hilly areas of the district.
There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hills and mountains of Province 1.

As of 5:45 am today, the temperature in Kathmandu Valley has been measured at 1.8 degrees, about one degree lower than on Saturday.
The minimum temperature in the Valley on Saturday was 2.7 degrees Celsius.
