KATHMANDU: Police have arrested popular rapper Ashish Rana “Laure” from Pokhara’s New Road Wednesday night.
According to Ramesh Thapa, Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Kaski, he was arrested from Pokhara.
Police said that he was arrested as he was in a state of drug consumption.
“We have arrested Ashish Rana in a drug case,” said Superintendent of Police Thapa.
He is also the judge of Himalayan Roadies.
Police said that further investigation is underway.
He became popular from Rap Battle Raw Barz. His Case Number 402, The Path to Nephup, My Solta, Super Saga, and other songs are popular. He has also acted in Tandav movies.
