Nepal records 255 new COVID-19 cases, two deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 104 fresh coronavirus cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 255 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 245 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 10 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 64 persons in Kathmandu, 29 in Lalitpur, and 11 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 104 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, two more persons have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours taking the coronavirus death toll in the country 11,526 till date.

Meanwhile, 256 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
