Four killed in Myagdi jeep accident



MYAGDI: Four people, including a people’s representative, were killed in a jeep accident in Myagdi.

The jeep — Ga 1 Ja 7251 — of Nilgiri Transport Company heading to Raghuganga Rural Municipality-1 from the district headquarters Beni met with an accident on Monday evening.

The deceased have been identified as Gaumaya BK, jeep driver Dut Bahadur Thapa, Khimu Pun and Khimananda Sharma, confirmed Police Inspector Birendra Raj Gurung, according to News Karkhana, a new agency.

Gaumaya is also an elected ward member of Raghuganga village municipality-1.

Bal Bahadur BK, Manoj Pun, Bhim Fagami and Gyan Bahadur Sherpunja were injured in the accident.

They have been taken to Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara for further treatment.
