UML did not disrupt parliamentary proceedings even for a second: Nembang

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML deputy parliamentary party (PP) leader Subas Nembang has claimed that the UML did not disrupt parliamentary proceedings even for a second.

Speaking during a PP meeting in New Baneshwor on Saturday, leader Nembang said, “There have been allegations that the parliamentary works were disrupted by the UML. Parliamentary works were not disrupted even for a single second by the UML. To stage protests in the parliament was our compulsion, not wish.”

Nembang lashed out the parliament for discriminating the UML. “Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meetings do not take place, now-a-days. The Speaker does not consult us regarding meetings,” said he. The parliament session was prorogued in haste without consulting us,” said Nembang.

Meanwhile, he commented that the parliament did not execute even a single work following the reinstatement of the parliament.

“The parliamentary activities depend on the businesses given the government. The government failed to provide businesses to the parliament, stated Nembang.
