Nepal Army officers visit Armed Police Force Headquarters



KATHMANDU: Nepal Army (NA) officers, who completed Higher Command and Management Course at Nepal Army War College, Nagarkot, have visited the Armed Police Force (APF) Headquarters in Kathmandu Thursday.

The NA officers visited the APF Headquarters and received information about various aspects of the security force.

On the occasion, APF officials also held an interaction program with the NA officers.

APF Inspector General Shailendra Khanal, in the interaction, said that the APF was committed to the security of the nation, preservation of nationality, service to the common people, and rescue and rehabilitation of citizens. He added that interactions and visits as such would lead to better relations between the two security forces and would help in carrying out coordinated rescue and rehabilitation when required.

During the program, APF Additional Inspector General Pushpa Ram KC clarified about the various queries raised by NA officers about the APF. He also presented a token of love to Brigadier General Premadhoj Adhikari, senior instructor of the War College training course.

The program was attended by senior APF and NA officials.
