KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Dr Shekhar Koirala has taken strong exception to the proposal to form the provincial government under the leadership of NC in Bagmati Pradesh.
“The proposal to form the government under the leadership of Nepali Congress for two and a half months targeting the 14th General Convention is unacceptable,” said Koirala on Facebook.
Earlier, a proposal had been floated to CPN (Unified Socialist) to form a provincial government under the NC leader by ousting the CPN-UML government in Bagmati Pradesh.
Koirala has said that such activities will not only put the federalism at jeopardy but also make a mockery of the federalism democracy.
