CCMC meeting today as COVID-19 cases spike



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) has been called today after the cases of coronavirus spiked in the country, of late.

The meeting will take place at the Prime Minister’s Office in Singha Durbar.

The CCMC meeting is being held for the first time after Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba took over the helm of the government.

Earlier, Prime Minister Deuba had said that control and prevention of corona would be the first priority of the government.

The ban imposed by the DCCMC for a long time has been relaxed. However, businesses such as movie halls, swimming, rehearsals and restaurants are still not open.
