The Ministry said that while prohibitory orders have been fully enforced in 15 districts, partial prohibitory order has been imposed in three districts.

Prohibitory orders have been imposed in districts such as Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kaski, Banke, Kailali, Parsa, Kanchanpur, Dang, Palpa, Chitwan, Rupandehi, Salyan, Surkhet and Sunsari.

Likewise, partial prohibitory orders have been enforced in Kalikot, Baglung and Bardiya districts.

Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Traffic Police said that more than 2,000 people violating the prohibitory orders were held and released in the Kathmandu Valley on the condition that they followed the orders.
