Spanish Extremadura Assembly Speaker Delgado calls on National Assembly Chair Timilsina



KATHMANDU: A delegation led by Blanca Martin Delgado, speaker of the Extremadura Provincial Assembly of Spain, has held a courtesy meeting with National Assembly Speaker Ganesh Prasad Timilsina at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar Friday.

Speaker Delgado is on a visit to Nepal at the invitation of Bagmati Province Speaker Sanu Kumar Shrestha.

During the meeting, Chairman Timilsina, acknowledging Nepal and Spain’s harmonious diplomatic relations, focused on cooperation between the provinces and local levels of the two countries.

Speaker Delgado, on her part, said she would try to establish cooperation between Extremadura Province and Nepal’s provinces as well as the relations between the governments and parliaments of Nepal and Spain were indeed good.
